Resimet BR – 822 50ml

Resimet BR 822 is a single component, fast curing, and anaerobic medium strength adhesive used for assembling of bearing to casing. The advantage of BR 822 adhesive is to distribute load evenly during operations, which results in longer life of bearing. BR 822 is required where medium strength at room temperature is required. It can fill the clearance between the bearing and casing which results in zero machining cost, lower rejection of finished components of usage of pin/air clip can be avoided.

Resimet Bearing Retainer 822 cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Typical applications include rotor to shafts in fractional and sub-fractional horsepower motors. Locks bushings and sleeves in housings on shafts. Augments press fits.

For best performance, surfaces should be clean and free from oil and grease. Product should be applied to the bolt in sufficient quantity to fill all engaged threads. This product performs best in thin bond gaps, (0.05mm). Very large thread sizes may create large gaps, which will affect cure speed and strength. This product is designed to give controlled friction, (torque/tension ratio), during assembly. In critical tightening applications, this ratio should be confirmed.

12 months in a partially filled packing and strictly store in cool, away from heat.
