Sikagard® XT white base
 in a 25kg bucket is a one-part, elastomeric, and UV-resistant acrylic coating used for exterior waterproofing and decoration.Â
Product Details and Specifications
- Type: A one-part, high-quality elastomeric coating based on UV curing acrylic dispersion.
- Usage/Application: Primarily used as a weatherproof, protective, and decorative coating for exterior masonry, concrete, cement, and sand-rendered surfaces. It is also suitable for interior applications on various dry walls like gypsum and cement fiber boards.
- Key Properties:
- Excellent waterproofing capability.
- Elastomeric with excellent crack bridging ability (up to 3.2 mm, according to Sika India’s technical data).
- UV ray resistant and forms a tough film resistant to weathering and aging.
- Excellent resistance to microbial organisms like algae and fungi.
- Low VOCÂ (Volatile Organic Compound) content (< 10 g/L, per Sika India) and non-toxic.
- Water vapour permeable, allowing the structure to “breathe”.
- Physical Data (White Base):
- Packaging: 25 kg plastic bucket.
- Appearance: Liquid Emulsion.
- Density: Approximately 1.35 kg/L (at +27°C).
- Shelf Life: 24 months from the date of production when stored in original sealed packaging and protected from direct sunlight and frost.Â
